About Beau
Beau entered into my life on March 23, 2007. Well, really, a few days before that. Because I got him from the physiology department at the TAMU CVM, I went out to meet him one day with the wonderful woman who heads this adoption program and fell in love instantly. He was 3 years old when I adopted him and nervous and fearful beyond all belief. Coming from a dog family that has always had outgoing, smart and fearless dogs, he was a challenge that I never expected, and I have loved every minute with him.
There is nothing more important to me in life than the happiness of my dog. I could rant for hours about bad dog-ownership, but mostly I just want people to know that I find endless joy in working with my special puppy and making him happy. I need someone to spoil, and he’s it.
Beau is a bed hog. Beau bays like a hound and prances like a little girl. Beau loves to hump other boy dogs with testicles and wants to go to the dog park every day. Beau is too smart for his own good, much smarter than he lets on to strangers. Beau loves chicken and agility and splashing in puddles in the rain. Beau loves getting bathed and acts like a drunk when he takes his Benadryl.
Beau is my best friend, really.
